This Privacy Policy explains how the WiFi FTP Server by SysCraftLabs mobile application (“the App”), developed and published by SysCraftLabs, collects, uses, and protects user data. This policy is written to comply with Google Play Developer Policy (2026) and Google AdMob requirements.

1. App Overview

WiFi FTP Server allows users to transfer and manage files stored on their device over alocal Wi‑Fi network using the FTP protocol. All file transfers happen locally between your device and devices on the same network.

The App does not require user accounts and does not provide cloud storage or remote servers.

 

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information

We do not collect personally identifiable information such as name, email address, phone number, or precise location.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

The App itself does not log or store personal usage data. However, limited non‑personal data may be collected automatically by third‑party services used in the App, such as: - Device type and operating system version - App interaction events (e.g., ad impressions) - Approximate location (city‑level), as provided by advertising services

 

3. Permissions Used and Their Purpose

The App requests the following permissions strictly to provide its core functionality:

Network Permissions

INTERNET – Required to display ads and enable FTP connections
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE / CHANGE_WIFI_STATE / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE– Used to detect Wi‑Fi connectivity and enable local network file transfers

Storage Permissions

READ / WRITE External Storage (or media‑specific permissions on newer Android versions) – Used to allow users to browse, upload, download, and manage files via FTP
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (on supported devices) – Required for full file access when enabled by the user

Foreground Service

FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC – Allows the FTP server to continue running while the app is in the background

Notifications

POST_NOTIFICATIONS – Used to show FTP server status notifications

The App does not access contacts, SMS, call logs, microphone, camera, or precise location.

 

4. File Access and Data Handling

All files remain on the user’s device
File transfers occur only on the local Wi‑Fi network
We do not upload, store, or back up user files to external servers
We do not scan or analyze user files
 

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob to display ads (App Open Ads, Interstitial Ads, and Native Ads).

AdMob may collect and process certain data, including: - Advertising ID - IP address (for approximate location) - Device and app interaction data

Users can opt out of personalized ads through their device settings.

 

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share personal data.

Data may be shared only with: - Google AdMob, for ad serving and analytics, in compliance with Google Play policies

We take reasonable measures to protect the App from unauthorized access. Since all file operations occur locally on your device, users remain fully in control of their data.

However, users are responsible for securing their Wi‑Fi network and FTP credentials.

 

8. Children’s Privacy

This App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

 

9. User Rights

Users may: - Disable permissions from device settings - Reset or limit ad personalization from Google settings - Stop using the App at any time
